Work...
26 November 2006
Finding a job is not fun. Yeah, I sent an application up to Zion Ponderosa, but now I highly doubt I will get the job up there. I've been trying to apply for a job at Wal-Mart, but I guess since I applied more than 60 days ago--for a job that I must be 18 to do--I am not able to get a new PIN. I forgot my old pin, I forgot my old login and password. I can't get a new one though, because it hasn't been 60 days! I don't know why the hell it matters how many days it has been, and they won't even give me a new PIN online, I have to go to Wal-Mart to get it. Frustrating! There is a possible job at Arbys in Coral Cliffs, or whatever that place is called. I hear they start with $7.00/hr, but I really, really, really, hate working with food. It wouldn't be so bad if I were just a cook, but they would probably make me work up front... Wal-Mart would just be a nicer job as well, I would probably get higher pay. Other than that, I really don't know where any job openings are.
If I do get a job before January, I might start school at Dixie College in St. George. Only because that would be practical if I was able to fit it in, and pay for it without much trouble. It would be cheap and I can live at home until I move out. Maybe by then I would have a good enough GPA to get into a university somewhere. I've been thinking a lot about moving somewhere in Nothern California, if I was able to support myself. I really like the idea of moving to Washington, but I like the idea of moving to Northern California even more. It is a lot less likely... but I would still love to go to school somewhere up there. I hear San Fransisco and surrounding areas are a lot more lax towards tattoos and piercings. ;)
